― Sogyal Rinpoche, The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying
Linda Cornelius was born in Copenhagen from Danish parents, but spent her childhood between Nice, Rome and Venice, where she attended the Art Institute and the School of Art. She learned to paint oils on canvas, but not content with traditional painting conventions, she stood out for the use of vivid colors and alternative painting techniques.
Linda has worked for many years as a graphic designer, both in Denmark and Italy, and has been using computers and graphic software since the introduction of the first Macs and PCs.
Later, her inquiring mind and experimental attitude made it natural for her to start using the computer as a tool for artistic creations, beyond the constraints and rules of physical brushes and media. This is how her paintings evolved into “digital oils”, immaterial creations that can materialize on any media.
She now lives Randers, Denmark, lending her art to the design and production of all sorts of communication media and tools, including web sites and blogs for business and nonprofit, printed and multimedia materials, packaging designs, exhibition and theatrical elements and more.
